The mission of the California Native Plant Society is to increase understanding and appreciation of California's native plants, and to preserve them in their natural habitat through scientific activites, education, and conservation.

The Monterey Bay chapter of the California Native Plant Society is a member of a statewide non-profit organization of amateurs and professionals with a common interest in California’s native plants. Our chapter covers Monterey and San Benito counties. Membership is open to all. Member or not, please join us in activities such as general meetings with lectures, weed bashing, and most field trips.
